Vietnam Airlines Launches Flights Between Saigon and Manila, Philippines (2024)

(17/06/24) Vietnam Airlines has launched direct flights between Saigon and Manila, Philippines.

The airline will operate a total of 7 flights per week between Vietnam and Philippines, with four flights per week between Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) and Manila taking off every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday; and a thrice weekly service between Hanoi and Manila on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

From Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) in Saigon, flight VN648 is scheduled to leave at 00:50, arriving at T1 of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) in Manila, Philippines at 04:20.

From Manila, flight VN649 is slated to depart Terminal 1 at 05:20, arriving in Saigon at 06:50.

Philippines is a high potential market for Vietnam Airlines as not only is there a community of nearly 30,000 Vietnamese people living in Philippines and about 7,000 Filipinos residing in Vietnam, but there is an ever increasing amount of demand from business and leisure travellers.
